Job description
At TradeZella, we’re on a mission to empower 1 million retail day traders to become consistently profitable. That means building not just a powerful product—but a world-class team of curious, driven people who care deeply about helping traders grow.
About TradeZella
TradeZella is the all‑in‑one trading companion for retail day‑traders, blending journaling, analytics, AI coaching, and community.
We are bootstrapped, highly profitable, and fully remote team.
Our vision is to become the globally loved platform and community where traders master strategy, discipline, and growth.
We believe profitability stems from a repeatable process, disciplined execution, and continuous learning—TradeZella provides the tools and community to support this.
Overview
We’re looking for someone to own the story TradeZella tells the world: positioning, messaging, launches, and category narrative. Turn every major launch into real revenue. Pull the brand toward more serious, professional traders (active day traders, prop firm traders, and those who treat this as a profession) and into new segments.
This role exists because we're shipping the biggest products in our history: Zella AI, Backtesting, Vizor, Spaces, and more on the way. There's real revenue upside in each, unlocked through sharper positioning and GTM. There's also a big opportunity to evolve how the market sees us, from "trading journal" to the AI platform serious traders run their edge on. That's where the product, strategy, and next phase of growth are all pointing.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be writing copy, coordinating launches, running campaigns, and digging into customer feedback all in the same week. If you need a 12-person team and a six-month plan to get anything done, this isn't the role for you.
What you'll own:
Positioning, brand vision, and category narrative: repositioning TradeZella
End-to-end GTM for product launches: Zella AI, Backtesting, Vizor, Spaces, and everything we ship next, each tied to a real revenue outcome
The content and narrative engine: case studies, category POV, SEO conversion content
Customer and competitive intelligence: interviews, teardowns, win/loss, the positioning framework the whole company runs on
The story we arm creators, affiliates, and partners with: alongside our Affiliate & Partnerships Lead
How You’ll Live Our Values
Extreme Ownership: You’re a builder. You don’t just design features—you ship them.
Transparent Communication: You share progress early and often. You’re clear, concise, and async by default.
Bias for Action: You ship. Learn. Repeat.
Excellence: You have high standards and raise the bar for everyone around you.
Customer Obsession: You think like a trader. You want every user interaction to feel intuitive and empowering.
Humility: You welcome feedback, value diverse input, and always keep learning.
Job requirements
4–7 years in product marketing at a consumer subscription or PLG company
A track record of moving a real number — launch revenue impact, conversion, feature attach — and the receipts to prove it
You've shipped GTM end-to-end and tied launches to dollars, not just press or eyeballs
You've repositioned a product or brand before and can talk through how
You're a sharp writer who can take a complex product and make it land in five seconds
You use AI to move 5x faster without dropping the quality bar
Bonus: You trade, or you've built marketing at a brokerage, prop firm, or trading-adjacent fintech
